I have over 25 years of experience in the field of design with a Certificate of Design from the Massachusetts College of Art & Design.

The bulk of my experience has come from working for the Boston Athletic Association as their in-house graphic designer. Being a former competitive runner and working for the B.A.A. allowed me to bridge two passions. For them, I worked on a myriad of projects from print graphics, logo design, branding integration, signage, advertising, web and social media graphics, exhibit design, and more. I worked with marketing and communications to ensure a consistent branding strategy year to year for their various events and established consistent “themes” across various mediums. In addition, I was involved the collaborative multi-phase process of redesigning the organization’s logo to bring it into the 21st century. I was also responsible for creating logo usage guidelines and “corporate” branding kits in order to enforce logo usage requirements.

In addition, I contributed to the design and launch of the organization’s original website. As a result, I learned basic html and eventually designed additional websites. I have basic knowledge of CSS and have recently built a few websites using the WordPress platform.

The responsibility of a graphic designer is to listen carefully to the client and then assist him/her in executing that vision successfully. I feel I have the multidisciplinary design background and experience to execute successful design projects in a wide range of disciplines.
